Drawn to stories that feel lived in

About Hailey

I photograph intimate weddings and immersive branding sessions for people who care more about feeling something than performing for a camera

I do!

I’ve always been drawn to things that feel layered. Stories with tension. Spaces with history. Moments that feel too important to rush through.

Before photography became my full-time work, I spent years in corporate spaces that never felt entirely human enough for me. I craved creativity, movement, emotion, and a slower kind of presence. Something that felt lived in instead of perfectly polished.

These days, I’m usually collecting inspiration somewhere. Wandering through antique shops, getting lost in bookstores, saving films purely because of their cinematography, hiking through the PNW, or pulling visual inspiration from fantasy stories, candlelit spaces, old architecture, and anything a little dark, romantic, or atmospheric.

I think a lot about the art of noticing. The subtle shifts in people. The feeling a room holds before dinner begins. The quiet in-between moments that somehow become the memories people return to years later.
A lot of that naturally finds its way into the way I move through the world and the way I create within it.
I’m a mom, a memory hoarder, a lover of stories, and someone deeply drawn to beauty that feels textured, emotional, imperfect, and real.

And honestly, I think that’s where the most meaningful things usually exist too.

The Things I Keep Coming Back To

You Don’t Have to Perform Here

Most of the people who work with me tell me the same thing before we start:

“We’re awkward in photos.”

Truthfully, I rarely find that to be true.

Most people just haven’t been photographed in a way that actually gives them space to settle in, connect, and stop thinking about how they look every second.

I guide when it’s needed, step back when it matters, and pay close attention to the things already unfolding naturally. The way you move together. The small habits you don’t realize you have. The moments in between the posed ones.

By the end, it usually stops feeling like a photoshoot altogether.

It feels more like being fully present inside the moment while someone quietly and captures notices what’s worth holding onto.

"10/10 would recommend booking Hailey for all your photography needs! She has the perfect balance of structure to guide you through poses that look authentic, while also encouraging the freedom of movement. I've booked multiple sessions with her, and am always I impressed with the quality of editing. Plus - shes the master of not letting you look awkward/unfomfortable, which I really appreciate! She is the best option to capture life's special moments."

"Hailey shot our wedding last October and it was truly the most perfect day. Seeing the images capture our memories so beautifully was such a treat! As a fellow wedding vendor, I know that Type C brides like myself (extroverted and assertive, but also fine with whatever) can be a little chaotic but she followed me around and caught all the moments like a champ! We even had an ALL CANDLELIGHT reception and the photos came out stunning! Thank you Hailey for making our day unforgettable"
